Terms of use

Home Stay OS is a registry for independent houses. Guests find a stay; hosts sell nights.

The booking

A reservation is between you and the host. Home Stay OS provides search, the stay page, and the payment rail. A stay is not confirmed until the booking status is confirmed after payment (or host accept, when that path applies).

Checkout requires that you accept these Terms and the Privacy page. The time you accept is sent with the booking as acceptedTermsAt.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms are the host’s, shown at checkout as free text until platform policy dictionaries exist. If a host has not published terms, ask before you pay.

Payments

Card payments use Stripe Checkout. Stripe remains in test mode until the product lead signs the legal go-live. Do not treat a test payment as a live charge.

Hosts

Hosts keep their house, rates, and calendar. Listing on search requires an active subscription and a published stay. Register at signup, then add, edit, and publish from the host dashboard.
